Sarah Mohammad

Sarah Mohammad was born in Georgetown, Guyana to parents Amina Ramsaran and Saud Zahir. Sarah became Eric Ramsaran’s daughter at the age of 2 years old. She was raised in Far Rockaway Queens, NY. She graduated from Beach Channel High School and went on to pursue her medical career at Berkeley College. She graduated with her Associate’s in Applied Science Degree and became a Medical Assistant in 2008. For the next 12 years she worked with several hospitals/urgent cares and pediatric offices. She was currently enrolled in Chamberlain University for her Bachelor’s in Nursing while working for AIM Medical Center. All her patients called her their favorite nurse and had nothing but great experiences with her. Sarah lived a vibrant life. She never worried about the things she couldn’t change, only the things she could. She would always say, “I’m just like my mama, strong and independent”. Everyone gravitated towards her. She always kept everyone laughing with the crazy things she would say. She loved her family dearly and enjoyed all the times they spent together. She did not play around when it came to her siblings. She would always say, “Only I can mess with y’all, nobody else”. Sarah loved music, especially Soca and Reggae and she loved to dance. Although Sarah’s life was cut short, her purpose on this earth was clear. She was here to give more than take, love more than receive and provide many with clarity. The last few years of her life she helped so many people find ways to cope with their sicknesses through natural remedies. She left this world saving lives by donating her kidneys, liver, and lungs. Even though her physical presence is absent, her spirit lives on forever. Sarah’s proudest accomplishments in life were her sons, King and Kairo. They were and always will be her world! King loved spending time with his mom watching movies, going to arcades and waterparks, having big boy talks and getting ‘mommy hugs’. He was blessed to spend 10 years of his life with his mother and will have those memories to cherish forever. Although Kairo was only 7 months old when Sarah passed, he knew who his mommy was. His smile could light the darkest room whenever he saw her. She loved her boys so much! Sarah suddenly passed away on August 22, 2023. Her passing is a great loss not only for her family, but to many others as well. She had many genuine and life-long friends, a host of cousins, aunts and uncles from Guyana, Jamaica, Canada, Denmark, Florida, and New York. Sarah was predeceased in death by her grandparents Sheik Mohammad and Eric Harripaul, her uncle, Kemal Baksh, her cousin Sabrina Tilakhdin and sister, Shaniqua Ramsaran. She is survived by her parents, Amina and Eric Ramsaran, Saud and Joycelyn Zahir; her grandparents, Rose Rego, David and Bebe Baksh, Zairool Mohammad, and Avis Harripaul; her fiancé Tylon Kirt; her precious babies King Brown and Kairo Kirt; her siblings, Saadia Ramsaran, Kristal Ramsaran, Nickolas Ramsaran, Justin Ramsaran, Emma Zahir, Eric Ramsaran, Reggie Riggins and Devin Dennis; her nieces and nephews, RJ Williams, Aaron Williams, Armani King and Dominic Riggins; her aunts Selina, Farisha, Mary, Camielle, Suraiya and Saadia; her uncles, Fizal, Chris, Luke and Jeffrey; her cousins, Rosita, Natalie, Kahomie, Jonathan, Nastassia, Sheika, Brianna, Rhyan, KC, Junior, Eric, Candice, Alayah, Camielle, Christopher, Farah, Felipe, Daniel and her best friend Katrina. A Funeral Service will be held at 12:00 PM on Saturday, September 2, 2023 in the Loganville Chapel of Tim Stewart Funeral Home with Deacon Gary Scarlett officiating. The family will receive friends 5:00 PM – 8:00 PM on Friday, September 1, 2023 and 10:00 AM – 11:30 AM on Saturday, September 2, 2023 at Tim Stewart Funeral Home, 670 Tom Brewer Road, Loganville, GA 30052. 770-466-1544.
