RUTLEDGE – Michael Rutledge, age 62 of Lawrenceville, passed away on Thursday, November 25, 2021. A Funeral Service will be held at 11:00 AM, Sunday, November 28, 2021, in the Lawrenceville Chapel of Tim Stewart Funeral Home with Rev. Marty Cason officiating. Interment will follow at Gwinnett Memorial Park. Michael worked for Sosebee Auto Parts for 20 years. He was a native of Lawrenceville and a graduate of Central Gwinnett High School. Michael was a member and deacon at Mt. Vernon Baptist Church. He was an avid Georgia Bulldog and Braves fan. Michael was preceded in death by his parents, Howard & Ruby (Jackson) Rutledge; brother, Harold Rutledge. He is survived by his loving wife of 38 years, Patty Roberts Rutledge; daughters & sons-in-law, Ashley & Dr. Matthew Broome of Winder, Jessica & Lt. Connor Bane of Watertown, NY; sister & brother-in-law, Katherine & David Murray of Longs, SC; sister, Wanda Rutledge of Maysville; sister-in-law, Pat Rutledge of Snellville; sisters-in-law & brothers-in-law, Peggy & Calvin Dye of Lawrenceville, Sonya & Bobby Cox of Monroe; brother-in-law & sister-in-law, Billy & Dana Nation of Dawsonville; several nieces & nephews.
