Michael Edward Donahue, Jr., age 67 of Grayson, passed away on Tuesday, September 7, 2021. A Private Memorial Service will be held at a later date. Mike was born on March 1, 1954 in Kansas City, Missouri to the late Michael Edward Donahue, Sr. and Rosalie Dunn Donahue. He was a graduate of Bishop Miege High School in Kansas City, KS. He received his bachelor’s degree in construction science from Kansas State University before starting his career as a home builder in the 70’s. Mike was a member of St. Oliver Plunkett Catholic Church. In addition to his parents, Mike was preceded in death by his brother, John Donahue. He is survived by his wife of 35 years, Debra Donahue of Grayson; son and partner, Brian Donahue & Kimberly White of Hoschton; daughter & son-in-law, Erin & Matthew Knox of Pendergrass; grandchildren, Eleanor Donahue and Lucas Donahue; as well as his sister and brother-in-law, Martha & Liston Young of League City, TX. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made in Mike’s memory to the American Heart Association, 1101 Northside Pkwy, Suite 1, Marietta, Georgia 30067.
