Katie was a very bright light in my daughter, Lydia's, life. Lydia has struggled to fit in most of her life,and sweet dear Katie taught her and encouraged her to live the life that Jesus died to give her, to be who Christ created her to be. Lydia is a very sad young lady today, but she does take great comfort in knowing she will get to see Katie again. The rain and dark skies today in Birmingham are just the earth's moaning and groaning because a bright light is gone from earth but is now safely in the arms of JESUS. Lydia and I have been, and will continue to pray for the family, her fiance and her closest friends. Heaven is much richer today!
