Judith Elaine Malecki Obituary - Visitation & Funeral Information

Judith (Judy) Elaine Malecki, 76, gained her angel wings on Wednesday, May 18, 2022, at her home in Snellville, GA with her loving family by her side. Judy was born on May 30,1945 in Westland, PA the youngest child of Gustave and Ethel Mae Sefzik, Sr. Surviving to cherish her memory is her beloved husband of 57 years, Ted Malecki Sr; her son, Ted (Carolyn) Malecki of Jefferson, GA; daughter, Corinna (Chris) Goss of Loganville, GA; grandchildren, Chandler and Dawson Malecki, Alex Gebhard, Carlee Goss and several nieces, nephews and cousins. Judy was a proud 1963 graduate of Fort Cherry High School in McDonald, PA. She married the love of her life in 1965 and if there was ever a true love story it was Judy and Ted. She retired from Gwinnett County Tax Commissioners Office in 2007 after 23 years of loyal service. After retirement Judy enjoyed trips to the beach and mountains with her loving husband, children and grandchildren. Judy’s family was her pride and joy and there was nothing she would not do to show her love. Judy enjoyed cooking and baking for family gatherings, and loved making memories with her family. She was an avid Pittsburgh Steeler fan, as well as, an Atlanta Braves fan. She will be greatly missed by all that knew her. Judy was preceded in death by her daughter, Dana Malecki; sisters Phyillis “Babe” Chabassol and Joanne Chiera; brothers, Gustave “Butch” Sefzik Jr. and Richard Sefzik Sr. In lieu of flowers, the family is asking for donations to be made to The American Cancer Society in her memory. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11:00 AM on Monday, May 23, 2022 at St. Oliver Plunkett Catholic Church, 3200 Brooks Drive, Snellville, GA 30078. The family will receive friends from 2:00 PM to 7:00 PM on Sunday, May 22, 2022 at Tim Stewart Funeral Home, 670 Tom Brewer Road, Loganville, GA 30052. 770-466-1544.
