SCHNEIDER- Corey Justin Schneider, age 30 of White Plains, GA, passed away on Saturday, June 12, 2021. A Memorial Service will be held at 1 PM on Saturday, January 29, 2022, in the Monroe Chapel of Tim Stewart Funeral Home. Rev. Brant Callaway will officiate. Corey was born on July 9, 1990, in Clarksville, Indiana to Kerry Lee & Victoria Lynn Schneider. Corey graduated from Lanesville High School in Indiana. He loved exploring nature, a passion he shared with his mother the entirety of his life. Corey spent as much time as possible “chasing sunsets” and playing disc golf with his faithful canine companions Winnie and Hank. On these adventures, Corey indulged one of his other passions, photography. Corey captured beautiful places at sunset and shared those moments with family and friends. Corey was an accomplished guitarist, who always had a song ready anytime an instrument was close at hand. Corey was a special soul, who loved and was loved by all who knew him. Every sunset will serve as a reminder of Corey’s zest for life, adventure, and love. He was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Kenneth & Flora Kirby Schneider; maternal grandfather, Tommy Powell; uncles, Tommy Powell and Perry Schneider; also followed in death by his father, Kerry Schneider in July 2021. Corey is survived by his mother, Vicki Schneider of White Plains; maternal grandparents, Marlin & Pat Moon of Good Hope; aunts and uncles, Sharon Campbell (Jeff Mathis), Julie Weathers (Roger), Joy Ewing (Ronnie), Larry Schneider, Jim Schneider (Rhodella), Rick Schneider and many cousins, family, and friends.
