Betty Lou Weathers Berry

April 6, 1933 - April 13, 2022

Betty Lou Weathers Berry, 89 of Dacula, Georgia passed away Wednesday, April 13, 2022. She was a lifelong resident of Dacula, and the Harbins Community. Betty worked as a seamstress for many years, until she retired from R&R Manufacturing in Auburn, Georgia. She loved shopping, watching old reruns on tv, listening to gospel music, she loved looking at friends and families’ pages on Facebook, spending time over the years with her son, grandchildren, great grandchildren and great- great grandchildren. She was known as “Granny Bett” to all her babies. Betty is survived by her son and daughter in law, Danny and Patricia Weathers of Jefferson, Georgia. Granddaughter and Grandson in law, Stacy and Eddie Fernandez of Lawrenceville, Georgia. Her granddaughter Angela Copeland, of Winder, Georgia. Great Grandson and Granddaughter in law Andy and Kortney Shelton of Winterville, Georgia. Great Granddaughter Brooke Shelton, and her fiancé, Dillon Kinsey of Comer, Georgia. Great Granddaughter Skylar Copeland of Winder, Georgia. Blake Copeland of Hudson, Wisconsin. Zackary Copeland of Winder, Georgia. Sylvia Sorrells of Winder, Georgia and Vivian Bowles of Monroe, Georgia. Great-Great Grandchildren, Trista, Gracelyn, Liam, Paisley, Aiden, Alicia, and Elizabeth. She is survived by her sister Annette Holland of Dacula Georgia. Sister-in-law, Betty Jean Watkins of Dacula, Georgia. Also survived by her nieces Wendy, Sandy, Jenny, Tracy, Cathy, Debbie, and Gail. Nephews, Robin, Johnny, Tommy, Joey, William, David, and Wayne. Many great nieces and nephews. Fur granddaughter Bella, and fur Great Grandson Chubb. Many fur great grands, nieces, and nephews etc. She is preceded in death by her first husband, Tilmon Weathers, her second husband John Berry. Her parents Joseph and Lillie Watkins. Her brothers and sisters in law Jack and Vicki Watkins, Joseph Jesse Jr. and Ruby Watkins, Bill and Barbara Watkins, most recently, brother Bobby Watkins. Brothers Paul and James Watkins, sister Doris. Also preceded in death by her niece Shirley Watkins Judson, Nephew Robby Watkins. Grandson in law Cecil Wayne Copeland Jr. Betty loved her family. Family was everything to her. She loved and cared for so many over the years. She was selfless, and giving, never expecting anything in return. She had a kind heart, a beautiful smile, joyous laughter, and she loved Jesus. Services for Betty will be held Saturday, April 16, 2022, at Covenant Life Sanctuary, 115 Patrick Mill Road, Winder, Ga. 30680. Family and Friends viewing will be from 10am-5pm, and the funeral will begin at 5pm. She will be laid to rest at Ebenezer Baptist Church in Dacula, Georgia.
