Alex Ingram

August 9, 1988 - December 22, 2021

William Alexander “Alex” Ingram passed away at his home in Lawrenceville on Wednesday, December 22, 2021. Born in Gwinnett County, GA, Alex was the son of Judy Gunter Ingram and Jeffrey (Jeff) Lee Ingram. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his paternal grandfather, Jerry F. Ingram, and maternal grandfather, Daniel Dempsey (D.D.) Gunter. Alex is survived by his grandmothers, Mary Sue H. Gunter, and Barbara Ann (Bobbie) Ingram, both of Lawrenceville; his companion, Kaydan Leigh Brick, and mother of their twin sons, Daniel and Dylan, all reside in Lawrenceville; and son, Hayden Lamar Pugh of Buford. Alex was protective of his dear friend, Jan Baur, calling her his stepmom. Numerous relatives survive along with a host of life-long friends. Recently, Alex had been the primary caregiver for both of his loving grandmothers. Juggling his time between the two of them kept him busy. Always attentive to their needs, he bought their groceries, mowed their lawns, and taxied them to various appointments which kept him scurrying and on the run. Constantly contacting his friends, Alex kept his cell phone humming. Music and movies were great motivators for him. Going to view the recent Spiderman: No Way Home movie was a highlight that he could not stop talking about. Clearly, taking Alex’s music away from him would have been devastating. Fishing adventures with his older son, Hayden, were mandatory. Playtimes and joking around became constant reminders for Hayden to be on the watch for when the ensuing “surprise” might be just around the next corner. As for his 4-month-old twins, swaddling them, mixing formulas, and changing their diapers were new challenges for Alex. Would you believe that he did a good job at welcoming his twins into the world and caring for them? Alex enjoyed working outdoors and completing landscape projects. He spoke of owning his own company hoping to someday make that dream a reality. Funeral Services will be held at 11 AM on Friday, December 31, 2021, in the Lawrenceville Chapel of Tim Stewart Funeral Home. Dr. Lamar Holley and Rev. Inman Houston will officiate. Interment will follow at Prospect United Methodist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 10 AM until 11 AM on prior to the service at Tim Stewart Funeral Home, 300 Simonton Road SW, Lawrenceville, Georgia 30046. 770-962-3100.
