Bramblett – Larry K. Bramblett age 82 of Covington passed away Friday, January 11, 2013. A funeral service will be held 2:00 PM, Wednesday, January 16, 2013 in the Lawrenceville Chapel of Tim Stewart Funeral Home, with Rev. Jimmy Hammonds officiating. The burial will follow at Gwinnett Memorial Park, Lawrenceville. Mr. Bramblett was the son of Garvin Hoyt & Thelma K. Bramblett. He was a member of First Baptist Church of Lawrenceville, and an Air Force Veteran, having served during the Korean Conflict. He was a hard working man who spent 40 years with O.L. Jollay, helped build many buildings standing today in Atlanta; he also spent many years running a cattle farm for Dr. Byron Dunn. Mr. Bramblett was a very dedicated family man, loved spending time with his children and all his grandchildren. He is survived by his Wife: Jeanette Brown Bramblett; Children: Susan Matheny, both of Covington; Larkin & Donna Bramblett, Gray; Stacey Bramblett; Holly Fortson, both of Dallas; Sister & Brothers-in-law: Shirley & Paul Townley, Ormond Beach, FL; Dan Collins, husband of his late sister, Sybil Collins, Pittsburgh, PA; 9 Grandchildren, 6 Great Grandchildren, 1 Great Great-Grandchild; Several Nieces & Nephews. The family will receive friends 4-8 PM Monday & Tuesday, January 14 & 15, 2013 at Tim Stewart Funeral Home, 300 Simonton Road, Lawrenceville, GA 30046. 770-962-3100.
