Rheney - Roscoe George Rheney age 75 of Loganville passed away January 11, 2013 at the VA hospital after an extended illness. A Funeral service will be held at 2:00 PM Sunday January 13, 2013 in the Lawrenceville Chapel of Tim Stewart Funeral Home with Pastor Derik Lawrence and Associate Pastor Keith Hamilton officiating. Burial will follow at East Shadowlawn Memorial Gardens. George was born February 11, 1937 in Herndon, Ga. He was of the Baptist faith & was a U. S. Air Force veteran.
He was preceded in death by his parents Gertrude and James Brooks Rheney Jr & sister Linnie R. Taylor all of Swainsboro. He is survived by his wife of 53 years, June Maxwell Rheney, two daughters Tammi R. Higgins (Johnny), Karla L. Rheney all of Loganville, son Joel B. Rheney (Kari) of Avondale Estates, 3 granddaughters Tiffini (Humphries) Herak, Tammini Humphries & Kelsey Rheney, two grandsons John M.
