Ellington, Franklin D. - Frank D. Ellington, age 74 of Auburn passed away Saturday, February 6, 2010. Funeral services will be held 2:00 PM Tuesday, February 9, 2010 in the Lawrenceville Chapel of Tim Stewart Funeral Home, with Rev. Ollie V. Hayes officiating. Burial Oakland Community Cemetery, Lawrenceville. Mr. Ellington served in the US Air Force with 8 years of service and serving during the Korean Conflict. Mr. Ellington worked for D&R Heating & Air; GATX; & Peoples Bank & Trust in Buford with 11 years of service; he also served as a Police Officer in Auburn during the 60's. Mr. Ellington is preceded in death by Wife: Bonnie McDaniel Ellington, survivors include: Daughter & Son-in-law; Heidi & Shane Davis, Buford; Son & Daughter-in-law: James & Pam McDaniel, Auburn; Brother: Dorsey Ellington, Winder; Grandchildren: Mandy McDaniel, Auburn; Chase & Bree Smith, Buford; Alex Davis, Buford; Special Nieces: Donna Chambers; Patsy Wood; Cindy James and many other special Nieces & Nephews and Great Nieces & Nephews.
