Bailey, Howard L. - Howard L. Bailey, Sr., age 78 of Lawrenceville, passed away Monday, December 7, 2009. Funeral Services will be held at 2 PM on Wednesday, December 9, 2009 in the Chapel of Tim Stewart Funeral Home, Snellville, with the Reverend Glenn Mann officiating. Interment will follow at Luxomni Baptist Church Cemetery in Lilburn. Mr. Bailey was born August 14, 1931 and worked for Amoco and Ferrell Oil until his retirement in 1987. He is survived by his wife of 57 years: Avis Maddox Bailey; Sons and Daughters-in-law: Jerry and Wanda Bailey, Grayson; Jeff and Amy Bailey, Lawrenceville; H.L. Bailey, Lawrenceville; Six Grandsons: Kellen Bailey, Lawrenceville; Graham Bailey, Newcastle, Australia; Kegan Bailey and Garrison Bailey, both of Grayson; Kyle Bailey and Brandon Bailey, both of Lawrenceville; Sister: Cornelia Bowen, Mayesville; Sisters-in-law: Virginia Bailey, Lawrenceville; Patricia Britt, Snellville; and Ethie Mae Bailey, Bethlehem. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Luxomni Baptist Church Cemetery Fund, c/o Dale McGinnis, 1805 Woodberry Run Dr., Snellville, Ga 30078.
