Boone - Joseph Eldred Boone age 82 of Snellville, passed away May 12, 2009. Funeral Services will be held Friday May 15, 2009, at 11:00AM in the Snellville Chapel of Tim Stewart Funeral Home. Rev. Ron Cole will officiate. Interment: Rosehill Gardens, Rockmart, GA. Mr. Boone was a member of Belvedere Methodist Church. He was a High School graduate and served in World War II and the Korean Conflict. A Mason since 1959, a member of the American Legion, and Disabled Veterans. He is a retired Postal Service worker and worked with the Boy Scouts for over 50 years. He is survived by Wife: Mary Jimmie Boone; Daughter & Son in-law: Mary Pamela & Barry Chapman; Grandchildren: Ryan Andrew Chapman & Casey Leigh Chapman.
