Michael Lee Alvord, age 47 of Winder, passed away Friday, March 27, 2009. Memorial Services will be 2 P.M. Thursday, April 2, 2009 at the Auburn Seventh Day Adventist Church in Auburn. Mr. Alvord was the owner of North Georgia Sign Design and was a member of Hebron Baptist Church. Mr. Alvord is preceded in death by Sheila Alvord, mother of Steven and Heather Alvord, and his father, Irving Cecil Alvord. He is survived by his Children: Heather Alvord, Dacula, and Steven Alvord, Lawrenceville; Mother: Mary Jo Alvord; Brother: Patrick Alvord, Lawrenceville; Sister: Tami Watson, Dacula; Granddaughter: Vanessa Carrier and many nieces and nephews also survive.
