Master Sergeant Julian Adams, United States Army Ret., age 78 of Buford, formerly of Ashburn, passed away Sunday, March 08, 2009. Funeral Service will be held 11 AM Wednesday, March 11, 2009 in the stateroom of Tapp/Tim Stewart Funeral Home with Rev. James McNeal officiating. Burial will follow at 1:30 P.M. in Georgia National Cemetery. Mr. Adams was a retired Master Sergeant of 24 years, served in the Korean Conflict and was also a life member of Shandon Masonic Lodge #370 A.F.M in Columbia, S.C. Mr. Adams is survived by his wife of 55 years, Bertha Adams; Buford; Daughters and Son-in-law: Earlene Gvozd, Buford; Nina Beth and Perry Moore, Cumming; Sons and Daughter-in-law: Tim and Sharlene Adams, Altlussheim, Germany; Jeff Adams, Albany; Son and Son-in-law: Joe Adams and Anthon Muller, Atlanta; Brothers and Sisters-in-law: Floyd Adams, Cairo; Alvin and June Adams, Columbus; Raymond Adams, California; Connie and Alice Adams, Albany; Sister: Martha Burdette, Thomasville; 9 Grandchildren and 8 Great Grandchildren.
